Central Hotel-Room 50

She passed a few hotels on the way, but she had wanted something with a nice view and access to many places within walking distance. The price for a night wasn't too bad, and after all it was worth it for the chance to be herself. She locked the main door, closed the blinds and stripped her clothes off before changing into her Crinos form.

Ah...much better. I've spent too long in my homid form.

Her paw reached out and touched the bed, testing it before sitting down ontop of the sheets. Searching through her bag, she pulled out a piece of cloth in which she tied around her waist, almost like a skirt yet the material only hung down in the front and the back.

Perhaps i should take a shower...ah but then i have to be homid again...no, i need a shower...perhaps a short rest first...

She decided to take a short rest and make herself a bit more at home by placing some stuff out of her bag onto a near by desk. After a half an hour of relaxing on her bed she decided it was time to get clean. Her body was sweaty and felt like a magnet for dust from her long travels. She turned on the tap and watched the hot water steam up the mirror as she changed back into her homid form and slipped into the tub.

Ah...much much better...a break from everything.. just what this garou needs...

The water ran for a while longer, filling the tub with it's natural soothing spell before she was forced to turn the tap off or risk flooding the place. With an arm resting on the rim of the tub and the other dangling slightly over, she leaned back and submerged as much as she could. A content sigh escaping from her lips.

After what seemed an eternity she finally left the bath and wrapped a towel around her body. She placed her hands on the bathroom sink and looked into the mirror; a look of indecision as she took a deep breath.

Once marked, marked forever. I have no ties…or do I? I am who I am; no sense for me to hide now…

Her hand fell to a handle in which she pulled the drawer under the sink open. From within the drawer she pulled out nail clippers and a lighter.

This will do…it should work with these…

Using the lighter she placed the flame of it under the nail clipper handle. After heating it as best she could, she pressed the hot handle against her skin. It took quite some time to get the desired effect but soon there was clear scar forming from the burn. Just above her left breast was the mark of the Black Furies tribe.

May my friends see it and distinguish me from foe…and let my enemy tremble in fear upon glancing at it. Fear of my wrath, the wrath of the Black Fury.

She put the nail clipper back in the drawer with the lighter before walking out of the bathroom in Crinos form. She gave a soft growl of disproval of having to duck slightly for the door frame. She made her way over to the bed and rested above the covers, her paw reaching for a book she had placed on the desk next to the bed earlier.

Ah…a good read should do the trick….

The rays of light slipped into her room as she turned lightly onto her side mumbling. She had read for a good long time that night and hadn’t realized the time ticking away. Her book had fallen from her hand to the hard carpeted floor beneath her awhile back; just as she had dozed off. She got up and put the book on the side desk; her paw running through the fur on her head as she did so. She could use another walk she decided, and her stomach was protesting against her to get some food quick.

Alright. Looks like I should get going quickly.

It didn’t take her long to put the few items she had back into her backpack change back into her homid form and tidy up the room before she left. As she closed the door, it was like she was closing it for the hundredth time. The rays of light that were lighting up the room disappeared as the door gave a click signifying it was closed and locked.

How many doors like this one have I closed before? I do not know…I cannot keep track.

She made her way down to the receptionist and handed over the keys.
