The size and layout of Redbox is idyllic - it packs a vast crowd yet due to its layout retains an intimate atmosphere.
The venue area is spread over 2 levels; the main floor complete with stage and two fully licensed bars and a mezzanine level overlooking the main floor on all sides and also equipped with two bars and a separate VIP lounge.
Designed by leading Australian designer Andy Martin, it’s landmark ‘pods’ or booths with interconnecting gangways make it a truly innovative and multi-dimensional entertainment space.
Perfect for live shows with its many vantage points on the mezzanine level, it has played host to some well known international acts including Moby, The Spice Girls, Daft Punk, Groove Armada, Jurassic 5, Ian Brown, Faithless, Stereophonics, George Clinton, Spiritualised, Public Enemy, Jill Scott, The Wailers and many more.
Also widely accepted as one of Dublin’s leading club venues over the past 10 years, the role call of superstar DJ’s who have performed at Redbox is never-ending, names such as Paul Oakenfold, Fatboy Slim, Carl Cox, Sasha, John Digweed, Deep Dish, The Chemical Brothers, Laurent Garnier, Dave Clarke, Jeff Mills...and every other big name in dance music.
