Letting them work it out, Keeva snorts at the last remark as she finishes off her plate of eggs. "That is a horrid mental image. Well, if we are to be off...and since I know his scent...I'll head off to the hotel with Fable, see if we can't sniff him out." She checks to make sure her flute is on her neck under the sweater. Might need it...considering it all.

Upstairs, Ciera changes into her more rugged gear. Heavy lined jeans, a tank top replaces the shirt from earlier as she goes about trying to find her boots. She finds Dev's shirt from yesterday, and grins. Thinking, she tries it on and it hangs off of her like a big blanket. Huh...probably not best for riding, but later good for warm. She lays it out on the bed, then goes back to searching for her boots as she ties her hair up in a quick pony tail.

He pulls on his boots and starts fishing around in the downstairs closet for a shirt that might fit. "That leaves you Tanith. Go with Ciera and help her get her message to the elders. Oh, and do me a favor, tell them I am still alive and I still don't like them."

Her eyes narrow slightly, but she decides to hold her tongue, for once. And she merely nods instead. now was not the time, they were like a dog with a bone, and were going to do things how they wanted...so causing more strife was senseless.

I turn my head and note the exchange between them, wondering if one could cut the tension with a knife.
I dry my hands with a towel and turn back to face them, noting that there are still a few more dishes I grab them quick and get them soaking in the water.
"Ok, well I think that's as settled as we're going to get. Give me a second to finish these and I'm good to head off."
I go back to washing the rest of the dishes for Ciera, trying to hurry and be polite enough to finish the task at the same time.
The dishes for the most part spotless finally done, I turn and wait.

Keeva moves to join Fable, silent as she helps put away dishes. Why was Tani stressing how big the town was? It really wasn't that big...and having been raised here gave them both an advantage. Maybe it was her time of the month...who knows. Better stop snapping though or she'd have to patch her up again.
Once finished helping out, she turns to face the table, waiting for their alpha to do something.

"Very well then, on as planned. You two, lets go." He grabs his big jacket off the couch and buttons it shut. "Tanith you can join us when your done, or come back here as you please." He walks to the door and waits for the others.

She nods and steps back so the group can leave.

I nod to Dev and follow him out the door, Keeva just before me. I make sure my light coat is on me and I put on the boots, not wanting to forget them. Once they are laced she stands up, smiling.
"Well we got a puppy to find, wasted enough time already."
I start out the door, then turn back to Dev.
"Shouldn't you say goodbye to Ciera?"
Or are you just the kind of man who would forget such a trifle. I want to add it but don't dare, quirking an eyebrow.

He looks at fable for a moment. "You smell something?" He sniffs the jacket, it was fine. Dev shrugs his shoulders like he doesn't understand, though he did. He calls out loudly. "Ciera, we are heading out but Tanith is going to escort you. You know I'll be back." He closes the door behind him and doesn't offer an explanation of the last sentence, the Black Fury might think it arrogance but Ciera would know it for the inside joke he had started last night.

Having caught the last bit of their talk, she holds off coming down the stairs. They didn't sound like they had meshed yet. She grimaces, wondering what could be causing the added strain in the room. She finishes going down, dressed in warm gear now, Dev's shirt tucked into her pants almost down to her knee's. She goes to the door as they head out, and she smiles at his comment. Waving, she watches them leave, turing and spotting the dishes done brings a sigh of relief. Good...wanted to get back and work on that blueprint soon here.
Turning to Tanith, she gives her a smile, brave face. "I only have one horse...ride double?"

Keeva gets outside and feels just...she couldn't put a finger on it, but it had alot to do with annoyance. Looking back at Dev, she waits for him to continue on. Shaking her head at his goodbye, she snorts. "Go wolf into town? Its quicker."

"Sounds like a good idea to me." He shrugs and stands there for a moment. "You know it wouldn't be so annoying if she didn't just criticize, if she offered an alternative. The critique is aggrevating is all, and it wasn't even my plan." He shifts, lands on all four paws and begins trotting down the path. He gives a bark by way of 'follow me'.

Not sure what to say, Keeva shrugs, then her form shifts to her wolf form. She follows after him, making sure Fable is along with.

Seeing them shift I follow quickly, preferring the furry wolf form for long treks in this weather anyway.
I grudgingly think about what went on in the house and have to agree with Dev.
Well, if she did say what she meant right away, that would have been better. Still she had a some good points in what she said. We have to get along better if we are going to be a pack though, we all seem on edge, especially them.
I give a slight growl, and shake my fur out before hurrying to catch up with the other two.

Looking over at Cierra, she gives her a bland look. "No horse will let me ride.. I will make my way on all fours." I will take point so as to not spook the beastie." And she heads outside to wait for Ceirra to saddle the horse up and be ready.

Grabbing up her coat, she walks out behind Tanith after making sure the door is locked. Noting the girl's impatience, she goes quickly over to the horse, calming it with soft words as she puts the bridle on. "Ok. I'll let you lead then." Using the fence, she hops up bareback to save time, and waits for Tani to take off. Can't have her following, or it would spook the poor thing, as she pats along Kira's mane.

Once Cierra is ready, Tanith slips into her wolf form. with gaia's luck most would assume she was a large black dog with Ceirra...and not a wolf. She didn't fancy removing shot from her tail... Heading off down the path, she set an easy pace towards the caern.
