Dev stands and retrieves a proffered sandwich. Taking a bite he walks towards the door, ruffin up Keeva's hair along the way. "Sounds good to me kid." He says around the mouthful. "No if you will excuse me I'm going to go start a fight with a kin girl." He smiles and retreats out the door in his usual bravado.

I watch Dev take off and arch an eyebrow, but shrug, not questioning him out of respect.
I look back towards Keeva, curious.
"Hunted by what, do you think?"

Keeva just shrugs. "Not sure...but, well..." She leans over to whisper in her ear. "He spoted me changing and was more than scared...he was terrified." She sits back, shaking her head. "Whatever is after him, we might want to prepare for. Poor thing was a wreck...had to break out the flute even. Mentioning that...reminded me of our leader. Probably went over to Ciera's."
She gives both girl a grin, sly look. "We best get some sleep...got to pick on Dev in the morning. If the da is still home, should be a interesting tale." She giggles.

I listen as Keeva whispers and bite my lip, thinking, growing a touch concerned.
Interesting.....we might have to sniff that one out again, find out why exectly........
"An old flame never really dies now does it?" I say, almost thoughtfully, then I shake my head.
"Alright then, Keeva and I will head back to the hotel I suppose. We will meet in the morning then. Thanks."

Keeva hugs both ladies, then after a wink to Tani, she steps outside again. Brrr...dam boots back at the hotel. "We are goin fuzzy...its bloody cold out here."

I nod to them both giving a warm smile, then I step out just behind Keeva, pulling my coat in close as a breeze rips by. I give her a nod and a shrug, stifling a yawn.
"It's the best way to travel anyhow, getitng a bit blinky myself."

Smiling, Keeva watches as Fable changes first, then she does. Soon, the two wolves are a blurr, heading back to the hotel at a good clip.

(next day about 11ish)
Keeva runs up, playing along the way in a tag game with Fable. In high spirits, she houls loudly as she approaches the place.

I grin, or come as close as I can, chasing right behind her. I hear the howl and echo it with one of my own, thrilled at the chill air through my fur, sad the running jaunt has to end soon.
I playfully nip at one of Keeva's back paws to "tag" her back, darting away.

Keeva yips and goes darting to where she smell's Tanith. Tongue loling out, she goes to tackle her, caught up in the tag game as her heathery tan fur gets ruffled by wind.

Ohhh, heh, I think I'll sit this one out.
I stop as I see Keeva tackle Tanith, panting slightly, wind ruffling through my fir. I close my eyes, sitting back on my haunches for a moment, cocking my head at them as they play a few feet away.

neatly side stepping the tackle "Not in Nana's garden, lest ya want to spend the day fixin' it." she chides.

Keeva picks her way about the garden after the failed attempt, the threat working quite well. Eventually, she makes her way over to nana and grins up at her, panting happily. She turns to Tani and yips, looking back over and towards the other kin house.

If dogs could raise a eyebrow, this one did. She stands this time, going first over a ways to where Fable is, then back to Tani. Yip, then she's back to Fable. Tail going, she didn't want to miss this one...ohhh no, not after all the pickin he did.

Curiosity gets the better of me and when Keeva looks back to me, I yip at her, padding off a few steps in the direction of the house where Dev's scent is coming from.

"Nana, I guess we are going to go pay a visit to Dev and his Lady. I will be back to help put the garden tools away."
Nodding "You run along. I can manage. You got responsibilities after all." Irene said as she bustled about the garden.

Keeva gives a happy bark, then is off, easy lope heading to the other house nearby. Going silent now though, her tongue hanging out.
