Keeva hand's him his coat back, going to her pack first to put away some of the food she had gotten. "I have an idea...mind if I go look? She's from here as well...probably visitin her ma." She looks up at him, patient.

"Indeed." He looks around, puts down his load and retrieving his stuff from the bags retreats to the bed he had taken up before. He strips off his shoes and shirt again and lays down with his stuff on the bedside table. "Have fun."

Keeva looks at him for a moment, then back to her pack, stowing jewlery that won't change with her. "I'll go the safe route...following her." She pop's her boots off, then socks. Barefoot and in the sleeved dress only now, she walks to the door, flipping the hood up. "Incase...follow in a hour. She might be into trouble again." She gives him a smile, then steps out.

"Yes mom." He jibes. "Will be along directly to bail you out if need be. Have Fable write a story about our heroics and bravery in the quest to rescue you two from your own kin." He smiles to show he is messin with her in idleness.

She laughs. "You know how she is..." She waves at him, then heads back out, padding silently out the door on bare feet.

I was daydreaming, sinigng a little ballad about running through the forest and barely heard the questions.
I shut off the water, stepping out, still singing but I can tell someone's back. I dress quickly, grey sweater and jeans. I come back out and see Dev.
"I didn't even hear her leave, really. Sorry about that, not answering you bit. I hope everything is alright. Too early to stir up trouble isn't it?"

"One would think." He huffs a sigh. "We have about an hour before we have to chase the two of them down. Till then the grocieries are over there."

"Sure an hour isn't a bit too long? Ah well, alright I'll stay, hate to go running with wet hair anyways."
Giving him a slow grin I sit down on the other bed, grabbing a bottle of water out of the pile of food they got first.
Uncapping it I take a long sip.
" Thanks for going shopping, boss. Did you get to push the cart? Eh well, not going to rag on you. We got to figure out how to conduct ourselves here. What are your thoughts other than play nice?"

Yeah, but only one. If any of them call me a Get, be ready to back me up." He smiles and laughs at her. "No carts, they did have mead though." He points at the container. "It's plenty cool out there, but we will likely go fuzzy in order to catch up with them."

"Mead? Aw to heck with the water then."
I grab the mead and drink a swig of it, grinning at the comment.
"Aye, yes I will back you, you know that. Been too long since I've got in a good couple of swings on someone who deserves it. So an hour, huh? We got any checkers or cards then?"

He stares at the girl holding HIS container of mead. "Yes, me neither, and its about due all of a sudden." He watches the bottle now. "Nothing here to do that I am aware of unless you brought something or know of anything the others brought." He opens a drawer and tosses her a bible. "You can catch up on your stories."

I see his look and smirk, handing back the mead, trying to be casual about it.
"Sorry, seemed to be an offer. As for this," I pick up the Bible off the bed where it fell. "Not a fan of fairy tales myself, prefer truth to fiction or at least a better sense of morals."
I lean back on the bed, feet up on the headboard, resting the book back on the table, eyes watching him, cautious.

"The Bible: It is full of interest. It has noble poetry in it; and some clever fables; and some blood drenched history; and some good morals; and a wealth of obscenity; and upwards of a thousand lies." He qoutes as he inspects his mead for imaginary blemishes. If she wished to sit with him in ritual as she had do was ask. "That one has always been amongst my favorites."

"Well yes, s'ppose that is true enough. I have read it cover to cover once or twice. I love the stories, but give me this whenever I need something a bit lighter."
Keeping her eyes on him still, wondering if she was going to catch hell for the mead, she pulls a book out of her bag.
Aesop's Fables
"If I'm going to read something this would be it. "
I pause, biting my lower lip, the book in my lap.
"Might I come along next time you go?" I blurt out, trying to make it sound as if I'm less interested than I am. "You may come to mine as well if you would wish to."

"Your part of my pack, you are always welcome to my rituals." Intuiting what she meant. "Aesop was a mad man by the way, but I like them that way." He pats his duffel which appears to be plenty heavy. "I'm a walking library now a'days. No way to keep a stationary collection unless I ship them home."

"Sometimes the most creative people are the maddest ones."
I roll over onto my stomach, flipping open the book and skimming some stories there, smiling still.
"Thank you. I might have to borrow some sometime. I promise to treat them well if I am allowed."

"Ofcourse you will, it becomes rather easy to do so after the first time I have to rebind them in your hide." He smiles pleasently to show it was a very idle threat in her case. "Most of them can be bought at any bookstore and only hold a nugget of truth or two. Some are very good. Those are the ones I keep with me, and ofcourse my Book of Shadows."

"Really?"
I smile right back, letting him know I would make no such thing easy, if he were to try.
"Yeah, I have read some drivel in my time. These days even the fools can get published and as long as it sounds good the masses will buy them."
Flipping another page, I sigh. Then grab a notebook from the bag and a pen. Placing the book next to the notebook I start to jot down a couple of notes.

"I suppose we should start that direction. I have no idea where they went or how far it is, so we should take about an hour to catch up." He stands and puts his shirt, jacket and boots back on. "Lets go kid, we have some Fianna to offend and embarras."

Closing the book abruptly I stand up, leaning down to lace the boots. I make sure I have the dagger on me, then throw on my coat.
"Sure thing, storytime later, let's go, need to stretch my legs anyway. Sounds like entertainment."
I walk to the door, holding it for him.
Kid?
